Certified Nurse Aide Training Program

Our Certified Nurse Aide Training Program offers students the opportunity to acquire entry-level skills pertinent to a career as a Certified Nurse Aide.

Program Highlights

• Curriculum content as specified by the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services.

• The course meets the guidelines of regulatory agencies such as OSHA, CDC, HHS, with a specific focus on OBRA 1987, and HIPAA 1996.

• Upon meeting all academic, attendance, and age requirements, students have the option to sit for the Texas Competency Evaluation Program Examination.

Admission Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older

• Clear criminal history check

• Proof of HS diploma or GED

• A negative TB test result or chest x-ray

• Immunization record

• Black scrubs for all classroom and clinical training

Successful completion of the program and the exam allows students to seek employment within the state of Texas as a Certified Nurse Aide.
