The Diesel Maintenance Technician program is designed to prepare students for employment as Truck, Bus, and Diesel Mechanics in the Heavy-Duty Truck and Bus Repair industry. The content includes, but is not limited to: system diagnostics, commercial motor vehicle preventative maintenance, air brakes systems, employability, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) procedures. The Diesel Maintenance Technician Program is comprised of three courses: Diesel Engine Mechanic/Technician Helper – Course DIM0101 (150 Hours), Diesel Air Brakes Technician – Course DIM0131 (150 Hours), Diesel Preventative Maintenance Technician – Course DIM0153 (300 Hours).
