Students are prepared to earn the following certifications: Yamaha Marine Maintenance Certifications: Portable, Mid-Range, Inline, V-Engine; Mercury Marine Fundamentals; and OSHA Forklift Training. Classroom and laboratory experiences in the Marine Service Technologies program include – theory and operation of the 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines, electrical ignition systems, and the safe and efficient work practices in the exploration of all functions of marine power plants. Students will have an opportunity for hands-on laboratory experiences including troubleshooting and repair of power heads, fuel systems, ignition and electrical systems, and accessories.
