About

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Technical Certificate (T.C.) is a limited access program that prepares graduates to function as entry-level Emergency Medical Technicians. The program utilizes classroom instruction, hands-on skills labs and field experiences to train students to become emergency medical responders who respond to a variety of medical and trauma situations. Upon completion of the program, graduates are awarded a technical certificate and are eligible to apply to sit for the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification exam to qualify for certification as a Florida EMT.
