The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program is one semester and 12 college credit hours in length. Estimated program costs are $3,200 for Florida residents and $6,600 for non-Florida residents. This includes tuition, lab fees, textbooks, uniforms, insurance and equipment. To be eligible to sit for the Florida EMT exam, students must successfully complete the EMT Certificate Program. The program includes 90 lecture hours, 120 laboratory hours, 18 hospital clinical hours, and 72 hours internship/ride time experience. Students are responsible for transportation to and from the clinical sites. Upon successful completion of this program, students will receive a college completion certificate and the necessary paperwork required
