EKG Technicians serve as valuable members of medical teams and interact daily with patients, helping to determine what is wrong with one of the body’s most important organs — the heart. This course will prepare you to earn a stackable
credential and be prepared to sit for the optional EKG Technician Certification exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association. This class is offered in a hybrid format. One day a week will be in person and one day will be online. The last 16 hours of class are spent in the clinical setting.

Florence-Darlington Technical College is a comprehensive technical college in Florence, South Carolina. Its occupational training includes Administrative Medical Assistant, HVAC, Electrician, Welding, Certified Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician Certification, Respiratory Therapist, Basic Automotive, Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A), Advance Cybersecurity, and Medical Billing and Coding, among other fields.
