CPR Courses Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers Initial  The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers course covers core material such as adult, child, and infant CPR skills, two-rescuer CPR, use of a pocket mask and the bag-mask device, foreign-body airway obstruction, and the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED). This course is presented in a practice-while-watching video format. It is designed for healthcare providers such as dentists, doctors, EMS personnel, lifeguards, medical assistants, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, physician assistants, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, and others who require a credential documenting successful completion.  This program includes both written and skills evaluations. A course completion card will be issued upon successful completion of the course requirements

Adult First Aid course presents information and teaches skills that will prepare members of the community to respond to first aid emergencies involving adults. This course may be taken alone as a one- night course or as a two-night course in combination with the Heartsaver® CPR AED course. The Heartsaver® Adult First Aid course covers first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies and environmental emergencies.
