The EMS Institute offers an amazing and challenging EMT program. Chanda (the course instructor) holds each student to a high standard, which I greatly appreciated because it pushed me to work hard and become the best EMT. Graduating from this class prepares you extremely well to pass the state and national certification exams, and consequently prepares you to be successful working in emergency medicine.

Become an Emergency Medical Technician. Enrollment is based on a first come basis. A student is considered enrolled in the program upon receipt of completed application and full payment of tuition before the course has filled to capacity.

Our course curriculum is defined by the US Department of Transportation and approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services. All courses offered by the EMS Institute meet, and often exceed, all objectives of the curriculum. This is a college level course and covers a large amount of reading material.
