HeartCode® PALS is an online comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development. To enter the course, students must complete the PALS Precourse Self-Assessment. Students are then presented with 12 In-hospital patient cases and a team dynamics lesson.

ACLS builds on the foundation of basic life support (BLS) skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. The course highlights high performance team dynamics and communication; systems of care; recognition of and intervention in cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Heartcode ACLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session. This blended learning course requires prior knowledge of ACLS and may be better suited to students renewing their course completion card versus those taking an ACLS Course for the first time.

An AHA Instructor plays a vital role in training individuals in life-saving skills, following the American Heart Association’s guidelines. Their primary responsibility is to teach others how to provide critical care during emergencies, such as performing CPR, using an AED, and offering first aid.

The ACLS Instructor Course is taught in a blended learning format. For successful completion, instructor candidates must complete course prerequisites and requirements: Have a current AHA ACLS Provider status and be proficient in all ACLS skills and bring this certification card with you to the class. Successfully complete the ACLS Instructor Essentials Course (online). Print this certificate and bring it with you to the classroom session.

Covers one and two-rescuer CPR for adults, children, and infants. Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Bag Valve Mask (BVM) is covered along with what to do if someone is choking.

Certifies the student to teach the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Safety for Healthcare provider course and the skills check. It also includes the ability to conduct the AHA Heartsaver courses including First-Aid, CPR, AED, Pediatric First-Aid, CPR in Schools, Bloodborne Pathogens and Family and Friends CPR.

Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who wants to be prepared to respond in emergency situations.

10-hr OSHA Authorized training is an orientation to occupational Safety and Health for Workers who are involved in construction and covers 29 CFR 1926.
