The DNP, Nurse Anesthesia Program is a 36-month (9 semester), 89-credit hour, full-time residential program. Graduates earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a specialty in nurse anesthesia. Nurse anesthesia students are educated for the full scope of practice. The DNP program provides students with a foundation of business, leadership, and practice skills to expand their practice on graduation. This new program began in August 2017. The program is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing’s distance-based accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (DABSN) program is your fastest path to a nursing degree. Students enrolled in the program earn a nursing degree in just one year of study. The program’s small size, with classes limited to 30 students, assures that every student has individual attention and can get to know their classmates. Each cohort of new students is welcomed to the program with a live, synchronous orientation prior to starting the program so that you know the program’s expectations, your instructors and your classmates even before you begin to study. Emory's Master in Cardiovascular Perfusion program trains perfusionist to perform as key members of the health care team. Perfusionists have the responsibility of operating CPB and other life sustaining mechanical devices for a variety of surgical and medical conditions. The Cardiovascular Perfusion Programs holds Candidacy Status from the Accreditation Committee - Perfusion Education.

The Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (ACPNP) specialty prepares nurses for advanced nursing practice roles in caring for acutely, critically, and chronically ill children in a variety of health care settings. Graduates will provide direct patient care management such as performing in-depth physical assessments, ordering and interpreting results of laboratory and diagnostic tests, and ordering medications and performing therapeutic treatments. Management of health and developmental needs of infants, children, adolescents, and their families is also emphasized. The online format means working nurses do not need to give up employment or relocate to the Atlanta area to become an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Emory University. This program starts each year during the fall semester.
Our MSN-MA in Bioethics program prepares advance practice nurses to identify, address, and assess ethical issues as they appear in clinical practice and health care administration. Students who graduate with a dual MSN-MA in bioethics will not only be prepared to enhance the care they provide to patients, but also will be prepared to work on issues of public and institutional policy as it relates to the provision of clinical care, to serve on ethics committees, or to conduct education on the ethical foundations of clinical practice. This dynamic program is offered in conjunction with Emory's internationally recognized Center for Ethics. Emory is one of only three universities in the US offering a dual MSN-MA bioethics degree. The Emory University Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Education Center provides both accredited post-baccalaureate programs and continuing education programs. Accredited by the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses SocietyTM (WOCN®) since 1976, the WOC Nursing Education Program prepares the graduate nurse to provide specialty care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, standard and continent ostomy diversions, and fecal and urinary incontinence.
The MN program applies a masters level approach to the second-degree nursing education. It has a focus in leadership and is a great choice for students wishing to serve in leadership roles within healthcare. Students in the MN program will complete their 15 month generalist program, which allows them to sit for the NCLEX to become an RN, or apply to certain post-licensure programs. Only students with bachelor’s degrees in other disciplines are eligible for this program. This program begins in the Fall semester.
Emory's online Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) program prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in the specialized care of critically ill neonates in various healthcare settings, including neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). Graduates are skilled in performing comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and symptom and disease management for neonates and infants through age two.
Emory's 15-month Master of Nursing (MN) Spring start program is a full-time, campus-based program that allows students with degrees in other disciplines to earn a master of nursing degree in as little as 15 months. This program is designed for those who wish to work as a registered nurse (RN) and is the first step in your nursing education. The MN Spring start program offers three options designed to meet your career goals: Master of Nursing Program, Master of Nursing InEmory Scholars Program, and Master of Nursing Pathway Program.

The Women’s Health/Gender-Related Nurse Practitioner (WHGRNP) program prepares nurses to meet the sexual and reproductive health care needs for all individuals. In addition, students are engaged in the care of women, beginning at puberty and continuing throughout the lifespan.
