All of our EMT courses are hybrid in format. Students complete all "book work" independently prior to attending in-class skills sessions. This format works extremely well for students who do not have the 150+ hours to attend a traditional EMT course, providing you are able to learn material on your own by reading the textbook, or listening to an audiobook with PowerPoint slides. Interactive lectures are also available. We offer skills sessions in a variety of formats including a week-long "boot camp" course, weekend sessions, and a new format of 2 1/2 to 3 days. Choose the format that works best for you. In-class skills sessions that occur within 6 weeks of the start date are accelerated and should only be completed by highly motivated individuals who have ample time to complete the coursework. It is estimated it takes 100-120 hours to complete the "book work" and another 24-30 hours of "at-home" skills work, which must be completed prior to attending in-class skills sessions.
