El Paso Community College offers a comprehensive Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license program that prepares students for entry-level employment as licensed vocational or practical nurses. The program consists of hands-on courses such as anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nursing fundamentals and medical-surgical nursing. Graduates of this program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) and become licensed as LVNs/LPNs.
