The Certified Medical Assistant program at E.D.P School teaches students the skills necessary for a CMA to work in hospitals, clinics or other medical settings where they will be needed as an assistant on staff with doctors during procedures, such as administering venipunctures and conducting EKGs, among others things. E.D.P. School recognizes that the first crucial step towards a career as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) lies in acquiring comprehensive training and education. Our Certified Medical Assistant program has been thoughtfully crafted to equip students with the essential skills required for a successful CMA role, covering vital procedures like venipuncture, EKGs, as well as important areas of medical assisting, such as examinations and laboratory work. Located in the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, E.D.P. School offers a Middle States accredited Medical Assistant training program. Here, students will receive thorough instruction in both clinical and administrative aspects of medical assistance, enabling them to proficiently carry out tasks commonly performed within various medical facilities. From administering vital signs and collecting medical specimens to performing blood withdrawals and administering injections, our program provides students with the necessary skills to excel in their CMA careers.
