CDL Training
Dutchess School of Driving has been helping people obtain their CDL License since 2002! This is what we do, and we do it well. Dutchess School Driving is very proud of our well trained, highly professional staff. All of our instructors are certified by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. Additionally, they all must undergo an intensive college training program. We have male and female instructors who possess a variety of skills, experience and backgrounds to assure a good match for each student. We teach in late model trucks, buses, and tractor-trailers! In Person Defensive Driving – Hopewell Junction (Main Office)
The Defensive Driving Course at Dutchess School of Driving can do both! Schedule today and SAVE! Dutchess School of Driving offers a licensed in-person, as well as online 6 Hour Defensive Driving Point & Insurance Reduction Course. This is a 6 hour class which addresses the techniques, attitudes and behaviors of defensive driving. Upon completion, each student is entitled to a 10% insurance discount and a reduction of up to four (4) points from their driving record.
In person Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A) Classes
The Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) class offered by Dutchess School of Driving (DSoD) in Poughkeepsie, NY is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain their CDL-A. The course covers topics such as vehicle inspection, driving techniques, and safety regulations. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be prepared to take the CDL-A exam and obtain their license.
