Adults should come to the Downey Adult School Main Office with picture identification, official transcripts to register and begin their journey of “learning for life.” Students can complete their coursework either at home or in our Learning Center Lab. Our Learning Center Lab offers students online courses and unlimited access to resources needed to complete their program successfully. The Learning Center also provides students a quiet learning environment that is free from distractions. Students have the freedom to work at their own pace and instructors are always available to help in any subject that students find difficult for them. Students are able to get one-on-one time with the instructors and the extra tutoring they need to help them be successful. Our counselor will help students determine the best educational path and create a custom study plan. All new adult students must meet with a counselor during the enrollment process.
