Dorson Vocational Training Institute’s Certified EKG Technician (Hybrid) program in East Orange, New Jersey, trains students to prepare patients, operate EKG machines, perform and mount 12-lead and single-channel EKG tracings, and identify basic cardiac rhythms and abnormal readings. Successful completion makes students eligible to sit for the NHA competency test for EKG Technician and includes CPR certification as a healthcare provider.
