Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) also known as AB-508 violence prevention course is designed for individuals working within healthcare field. Accordingly, we offer a MAB course that will help you to de-escalate violent behavior and prevent assaults.
When crises are approached in a calm, rational manner, often difficult situations can be defused. Before an assault or a physical confrontation occurs, and before a situation becomes unmanageable, the potential for danger can be reduced and the people involved can be defended and protected.
We offer a four-hour MAB course that uses trusted methods of crisis negotiation and intervention. When used in any stages of confrontation, up to and including actual confrontation, our techniques can prevent the need for physical action.

HeartCode® BLS is an official, self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program from the American Heart Association (AHA). This program uses eSimulation technology to present realistic patient scenarios. Students are presented with 5 BLS cases and an online multiple-choice written exam. While interacting with the program, students assess each patient, formulate a treatment plan based on 2020 BLS guidelines, and provide treatment. Successful completion of Part 1, the cognitive component, and Parts 2 and 3, skills practice and testing with an AHA BLS Instructor or a voice-assisted manikin (VAM) system, are the requirements for obtaining an AHA BLS Healthcare Provider course completion card. This program also includes the complete BLS textbook online so there is no need to purchase the book separately.
Critical Care Training Center is now offering our IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal course for RN certification in Los Angeles. Upon completing this course, RNs will be certified in IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal, and confidently offer this service in their practice. This 36-hour course is hybrid course lecture component (Day 1) is online and self pace and two days of practice with instructor. This course consists of 8 hours over two days. Lunch and breaks will, of course, be offered. The course will be taught by experienced staff, so that students will receive the best available information, and learn the shortcuts that come from real life experience. In order to be sure that students are at ease during the practical aspects of the course, possible complications and safety issues will be covered. Then, if desired, students can practice blood withdrawal and IV techniques on one another on the final day of class. Students who would like to practice the techniques of IV therapy and blood withdrawal, but who might be uncomfortable with being practiced upon, can bring someone who isn’t uncomfortable with them on the final day. Come and mix with your fellow RNs in a stress-free, friendly learning environment. Critical Care Training Center is pleased to offer in our IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal course for LVN certification in Los Angeles. This course has been BVNPT (Board of Vocational Nurses and Psychiatric Technicians) approved in California for LVNs. Students who complete the course will be certified in IV Therapy and Blood Withdrawal, authorizing them to offer this service in their practice. This is a 3-day, 36-hour course that is delivered in part online (self pace) and part classroom. Because this course results in 36 (CE) credit hours, each day will consist of a full day of classroom time – breaks will be offered, but will not form part of the class hours. In order to pass, students will need to demonstrate, successfully, IV insertions and blood withdrawals. Students will practice inserting IVs and drawing blood on one another. Students who, for whatever reason, would prefer not to have these procedures performed upon them, can bring someone with them for the clinical portion of the course. This is the perfect opportunity for LVNs to upgrade their professional accreditation, meet and mingle with their peers, and swap stories in a friendly, stress-free learning environment.

Hospital Fire & Safety Course is designed for Los Angeles healthcare staff who may be confronted with an unexpected emergency involving environments found in major hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, retirement homes, and clinics. Critical Training Center offers the 8-hours of Pediatric First Aid and Childcare CPR training approved by California Emergency Medical Services Authority and is required for childcare providers opening a childcare home or center as well as directors or supervisors of childcare centers.
The Childcare CPR and Pediatric First Aid course fulfills 8-hours of the 16-hour training requirement for licensed childcare providers and center-based childcare staff.
Upon completion of the Childcare CPR and First Aid course you will receive your course completion certificate which will include the State of California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) Red and Green Course Approval Stickers with personal serial numbers assigned specifically to you and will be recorded in the Official Records of the EMSA in Sacramento, California.

CNA Program prepares an individual for employment as a nursing assistant in a health care facility.
