Nursing Assistants (NA’s), also known as nurses aides, orderlies, and home health aides, work under the supervision of a nurse and provide assistance to individuals with daily living tasks. The 30 day program is 10 days of classes which are held: Monday – Friday : 8am – 4pm. Followed by working hands on at a Clinical Rotation site which are: Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 3:30pm. The training you receive at CMI includes, but is not limited to, bathing, feeding, dressing patients, observing physical and/or mental changes, and vitals. There are a total of 22 skills taught thru lecture, hands on training, and videos. Each skill is available online for you to review for the state exam.
