COPE Institute
COPE Education Services (‘CES’) was created to help eligible COPE Institute alumni advance their careers. Utilizing college credits for courses they already took with COPE Institute, would help facilitate their earning a B.S. in Business with a Concentration in Accounting. This 120 credit degree, with 30 additional credits, allows students to sit for the uniform CPA exam, as well as to fulfill the education requirement for CPA licensure in New York. This is done through a combination of guided studies for various standardized tests, as well as some college level classes and Jewish subject exams. Credits that students have obtained from their respective AARTS accredited yeshiva or seminary are needed in order to fulfill the 150 credit requirement. The CES accounting program is designed to help students build a solid foundation of accounting knowledge. Our skills-based curriculum provides core competencies that offer long-term value which will support a variety of career opportunities for the future accountant. Our students learn the latest accounting principles and are taught to use these skills in real-life situations. Upon successful completion of our program, students will earn a Bachelor of Science in Business degree with a concentration of accounting, which enables our graduates to sit for the Uniform CPA Exam. As an accountant and/or auditor one helps to ensure that a business is run efficiently, its public records are kept accurately, and that its taxes are paid properly and on time.
