The curriculum also aligns with the content of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) examination for Certified Professional Coders (CPC). To obtain the CPC credential, students will be required to demonstrate on-the-job coding experience in addition to passing the CPC certification exam. Those who pass the CPC, but have not yet met the work experience requirement, will be designated as an Apprentice (CPC-A).
