Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Instructional Design and Technology prepares students to utilize current and emerging technologies to create engaging curricula for diverse audiences. The program explores instructional design models, theories, and strategies used to design curricula in educational and training environments. Students apply technologies to evaluate and improve learning and training outcomes. This interdisciplinary program equips students with the necessary skills to excel in the rapidly evolving field of instructional design and technology, preparing graduates for impactful careers in education, corporate training, healthcare, government, and beyond.

This program is not designed to meet the educational requirements for a specific professional license or certification required for employment in an occupation.

Communication Concentration

Equips students with the theories and skills necessary for effective communication with diverse audiences. Special attention is placed on professional communication skills, intercultural communication styles, and visual and media literacies.
