The EMR Refresher Course takes 16 hours to complete, which fulfills the state requirement for the length of the refresher course. The course is entirely self-paced. You can log in at any time to work on the material. You have up to 6 months access to complete the course. Nursing Assistant - Certified

The “Bridge” Nursing Assistant training program is a way for Home Care Aides-Certified (HCA-C) to become Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC). The Bridge is a small specialized course that caps out at 10 students. This course is 24-hours: 8 hours of classroom, 8 hours of skills lab, and 8 hours of clinical rotation. The focus of the Bridge is to provide the skills and knowledge needed to become a NAC that is not included in HCA-C training. Classes are held at Columbia Safety Training Center. After passing the Bridge program, students receive a certificate of completion. Students are then eligible to take the state competency test to become a Nursing Assistant Certified.

The NREMT has waived the limits on distributive education – this means you can take the entire NCCP 40HR course fully online AND self-paced! If your certification expires soon, you’ll be automatically enrolled in this course format when you register.
