The Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School provides a thorough training program that prepares students for a profession HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration). The course, which usually takes two years to complete, covers key areas such as air distribution, cooling systems, heat systems, and commercial refrigeration. The course also prepares students for the industry popular NATE certification and the EPA Section 608 Certification. Upon completion, students can enter the workforce directly or transfer their credits to a two-year college to continue their education.
