Program Overview
The Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Project Management (MSM-PM) is a 48-credit-hour program offered online and at the Colorado Springs campus. The program includes 28 credit hours devoted to the management core and 20 credit hours for the project management concentration.
This program is for students who may not have an undergraduate degree in business, yet want to study project management. This concentration is designed to help the student develop the skills and knowledge of an effective project manager, including time/conflict management; teams and HR management; risk analysis and management; scheduling techniques; organizations and processes; cost, budgeting, and scheduling; procurement and contracting; and control systems implementation. Program content covers key areas contained in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), considered to be the industry standard.
