The program includes 51 credit hours of general education credit, 109 credit hours of core healthcare management classes, and 20 credit hours in the informatics concentration area.
The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management in Informatics is designed to provide students with an understanding of the business side of the healthcare industry coupled with knowledge and skills in healthcare information management. The program covers issues of data quality, accessibility, and interoperability across healthcare organizations; legal and regulatory requirements of electronic health records; data analytics, and cybersecurity in health care.
