The Doctor of Management with a concentration in Homeland Security program includes a combination of core management and elective courses, as well as doctoral symposium and research-related courses. The research element will culminate in a dissertation.
The Doctor of Management is a terminal degree for management professionals. The program helps students prepare to think and act strategically and provides the opportunity to enhance their abilities to make positive contributions in their chosen area of management expertise. This program is designed to promote the development of expertise and strategic analysis and thinking in homeland security and foster the development of policy leadership and academic expertise in this emerging field. This concentration is designed to leverage the experience of the homeland security professional to develop expertise in an area of the industry. The program focuses heavily on current, real-world challenges that homeland security leaders must face and overcome for their organization to be successful.
