A Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Information Technology concentration from CTU can help you study foundational business knowledge and examine how to link industry concepts with real-world examples to foster applied learning. The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology (BSBA-IT) is a 180-credit hour program that is offered online and at the Aurora campus. It consists of 66 general education credits, 86 credit hours devoted to the business administration core, and 28 credit hours in the information technology concentration.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is designed to provide students with foundational business knowledge, linking industry concepts with real-world examples that foster applied learning to help students prepare to pursue opportunities in the field of information technology. Students work to develop proficiency in business tools/techniques and the principles/skills of management. The program builds on technical skills and soft skills to support the student's professional growth. Students will study information technology skills such as programming, networking, security, and database administration.
This program does not lead to additional licensure or certification. As such, CTU has made no determination regarding prerequisites for licensure or certification in any state or jurisdiction.
