The Phlebotomy certification program at Colorado Mountain College-Glenwood Springs is designed to train and prepare students for a career in drawing blood for medical testing and transfusions. The program offers coursework in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical office procedures, and phlebotomy techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience in safe and appropriate blood drawing techniques, as well as learn about the ethical and legal aspects of phlebotomy practice.
