Our classes serve five counties on Maryland’s Eastern Shore: Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester, Kent, and Queen Anne’s. All of our GED and English classes are free to students; however, our Attendance Policy is strictly enforced. We have in-person and online classes that typically run twice a week (M/W and T/Th). Our evening classes run from 6-9 p.m. and our day classes run from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. To register for our classes, students need to attend an info session, fill out a registration form, and take a level assessment test. Chesapeake College
Chesapeake College is a community college in Wye Mills, Maryland, serving five counties along the state’s Eastern Shore. Its occupational fields include nursing, patient care, transportation, HVAC, medical assisting, pharmacy, dental assisting, phlebotomy, veterinary assistance, welding, and medical billing and coding. The college combines associate degree pathways, transfer preparation, and career training for workforce entry. Its offerings include Associate Degree in Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistant, Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A), HVAC, Medical Assistant, and Welding, among others. Chesapeake also provides health professions and skilled trades pathways, along with programs designed for transfer to four-year colleges and universities. The institution presents itself as an inclusive, caring campus community and describes its work as serving communities throughout Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
