The Adult Education program at Chattahoochee Technical College offers free High School Equivalency diploma classes, English as a Second Language, basic skills, and business soft skills classes. We have learning centers in Bartow, Cherokee, Gilmer, Paulding, and Pickens counties. In Cobb County we offer Adult Basic Education, High School Equivalency Preparation classes, and business soft skills. We offer day, evening, and online classes at most centers.

We offer non-credit professional-development courses that help citizens gain the necessary skills to further personal career goals. Our Intensive English Program (IEP) is an affordable, high quality English language study program that prepares students for academic life in college. We are located on Marietta campus of Chattahoochee Technical College, northwest of Atlanta, GA. The college is certified to issue I-20 for F-1 students in the program. Students can be enrolled full-time or part-time depending on which ESL courses they desire. Students who finish our program are ready to enter any college within the Technical College System of Georgia. Upon completion of 30 credit hours, students can transfer easily to any public university in the state of Georgia. We accept students on F-1, F-2, B-1, B-2, J-1, and J-2 visas in the Intensive English Program, as well as local residents, both documented and undocumented.
