Chance Medical Academy will introduce students to the use of specimen collection equipment, to collection procedures, and to acceptable standards of work in the industry. In addition, Phlebotomy instructors will present students to the basics in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, infection control safety and best practices in the health care field. Although the content of the classroom & Phlebotomy classes are important, Chance also offers in-class lab time where the student(s) will perform draws and learn the basic techniques to being a skilled phlebotomist.
