Central New York Electrical Training Alliance
The Central New York ETA provides a skilled, knowledgeable and able workforce for the unionized electrical industry within the Central New York area. This covers locations between Syracuse and Cooperstown, from Thendara to Cortland and all points that fall in between, including the metropolitan areas of Syracuse, Utica, Rome, Oswego, and Fulton. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 43 and the Finger Lakes National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) jointly sponsor this apprenticeship program that offers the opportunity to earn wages and benefits while learning the skills necessary for a challenging and rewarding career as a construction electrician. As an apprentice, you are given the opportunity to literally earn while you learn, using your intellect combined with your physical capabilities to perform duties in various settings with the continuous occurrence of new learning.
The CPR/Basic Life Support certification program offered at Central New York Electrical Training Alliance is aimed at educating individuals on how to respond in emergency situations. The course emphasizes the importance of recognizing and responding to different medical emergencies by providing basic life support measures like performing CPR, providing ventilation, and controlling bleeding. The program is designed to enable individuals to act quickly and efficiently in emergency scenarios, potentially saving lives.
