The Phlebotomy Certification Program at Rod Brady Campus, offered as part of the Patient Care Technician program at Central Louisiana Technical Community College, equips students with the essential skills to excel as certified phlebotomists. • Cost: Approximately $4,278 (program) + $200 (phlebotomy certification fee)
• Duration: Approximately 10 months
• Schedule: Hybrid (combines in-person and online instruction)
• Prerequisites: Recommended entrance scores in Reading, English, and Math on an approved assessment (ACT or Accuplacer); completion and passing of a pre-admission Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen; high school diploma or GED. Students must also maintain a 2.0 GPA.
• Accreditations: Part of the Patient Care Technician program accredited by the Council on Occupational Education (COE). Students are eligible to take certification exams administered by the National Phlebotomist Association. The college is also a candidate for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
