This hybrid program provides technical knowledge and training to become a Basic EMT. It prepares students to give efficient care to critically ill and injured at the scene and en route to a medical facility. The program is certified by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control. Successful completion makes students eligible to take the national certification examination. Some Saturday classes will be required. Hybrid courses have both face-to-face and online requirements to successfully complete the course. Scholarships are available to eligible participants.
