The Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) regulations establish new Federal minimum training standards for entry-level drivers. This includes individuals applying for a Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) for the first time, an upgrade of an existing Class B CDL to a Class A CDL, or a school bus (S), passenger (P), or hazardous materials (H) endorsement for the first time.
Our longer CDL A Truck Driving Course is designed for individuals looking to make a professional career as a commercial driver. This instructor led classroom and hands-on course offers preparation for obtaining your Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) and includes pre-trip and extensive vehicle systems, safety, and road skills testing.

This course is training to meet the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations for new entry-level drivers getting their commercial driver license, CDL A. It extensively guides students through basic operation, safe operating practices, advanced operating practices, vehicle systems reporting malfunctions, non-driving activities, trip planning, and hours of service.
