Take the first step on the career ladder in health care. Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides (NA/HHAs) are two of the fastest growing occupations. There are many job openings at nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and visiting nurse services or private care agencies.

The health care sector provides flexible schedules to meet your needs and the needs of your family. Jobs may be part-time, days, evenings, nights, or weekends.

Being a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide can be the first step on a career ladder into higher paying jobs in the health care sector including Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Registered Nurse (RN).

  • Nursing Assistant is a person who assists individuals with health care needs, performs activities of daily living, and provides bedside care (including basic nursing procedures) all under the supervision of a RN or LPN.
  • Home Health Aide provides routine, personal health care, such as bathing, dressing, or grooming to elderly, convalescent, or disabled persons in patients’ homes.
