The Medical Assisting program at Carrington College consists of three main educational components: Clinical, Administrative, and Externship. Medical assistants are trained to help patients and physicians throughout a medical office or clinic. They combine interesting medical work, such as taking vitals or administering medication, with day-to-day tasks of a medical office, such as scheduling appointments or completing clerical work.

In our Pharmacy Technology program, students will take courses that encompass a variety of subjects such as pharmacy calculations, drug distribution systems, drug characteristics, and the preparation of sterile dosage forms.

In Carrington College’s Veterinary Assistant program, students gain knowledge on how to offer assistance to veterinarians and assist with different types of care to pets, including lab tests, radiology procedures, veterinary dentistry, critical care, and surgical assisting.
