Medical Dosimetry students are technologically proficient and can utilize critical analysis to develop radiation therapy treatment plans. As a Medical Dosimetry student, you will learn to utilize sophisticated computer and planning systems to design, validate, and communicate parameters needed for safe treatment delivery. Medical Dosimetrists are vital members of the Radiation Oncology team and work closely with radiation oncologists, medical physicists and other radiation oncology personnel. The Medical Dosimetry program at Carolinas College provides students with an opportunity to train alongside some of the most accomplished oncologists, physicists, and radiation therapists in the field, while mastering the technological skills needed to become a dosimetrist.
