Join the Heart of Healthcare: Start Your Health Care Career as a Direct Care Worker. A Direct Care Worker (DCW) provides non-medical services such as personal care (hygiene, grooming and helping with elimination needs), light housekeeping, nutrition assistance, and physical support and assistance as necessary. CGTI’s Direct Care Worker class is approximately 24 in-person training hours and includes classroom lecture and skills lab training. Successfully completing our State-Approved Training and Testing Program qualifies you to become a DCW in as little as three days!

CareGiver Training Institute

The CareGiver Training Institute is a nonprofit organization that offers post-secondary educational programs for Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Caregivers. Their aim is to provide quality care for elderly individuals and those with disabilities by educating and developing men and women. The CareGiver Training Institute is part of the PCOA family of nonprofit companies that have provided services and advocacy to help older adults and their families age well for over 50 years.
