Program Details:

Career Care Institute’s Medical Assisting (MA) program is designed to adequately prepare the graduate for an entry-level position as a medical assistant within a healthcare setting in both front-office (administrative) and back-office (clinical) capacities. Our students will gain their knowledge through intense clinical, laboratory, and administrative tasks. At the end of the program, students will be placed in a selection of medical offices, hospitals, or clinics for one hundred and sixty (160) hours of externship. CCI is programmatically accredited by the Council on Occupational Education at all three campuses.

Career Care Institute’s Dental Assisting program is designed to adequately prepare the graduate for an entry-level position in a dental office as a dental assistant. Students will learn how to function efficiently and successfully in most areas of dental assisting. Dental assistants typically work in dentist’s offices, group practice, dental specialty practice (endodontic, periodontics, prosthodontics, etc.), school clinics, laboratories, dental supply companies, and insurance companies, among many other options. On campuses where dental assisting is offered, Career Care Institute is authorized by the Dental Board of California to certify students in Coronal Polish, Radiation Safety and 8-hour Infection Control.
Students will also attain a Basic Life Support card from the American Heart Association. Upon graduation of the program, and 6 months of experience, you will be eligible to apply for the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Written, Practical and Law and Ethics California State Board exams. You not only receive your Coronal Polishing certificate but also your 8-hour Infection Control, Radiation Safety and BLS from Career Care Institute.

Career Care Institute’s accredited Vocational Nursing (VN) program will prepare you for the ever-changing field of healthcare.
The course will take place in a lecture style classroom where you will learn a variety of nursing fundamentals.
You will also visit an array of nursing facilities for hands on clinical training. We believe there are valuable lessons by combining textbook knowledge with the application of that knowledge in a healthcare setting, while providing safe patient-centered care.
Our Vocational Nursing Program prepares the graduate to take the NCLEX-PN® exam, which will make you eligible for employment as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

Our Dental Assisting program is designed to teach you all the up-to-date skills needed in today’s dental field. Our program will teach you how to function efficiently and successfully in most areas of the dental field.
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll have the option to work in places, such as dentist’s offices, group practice, dental specialty practice (endodontic, periodontics, prosthodontics, etc.), school clinics, laboratories, dental supply companies, insurance companies, as well as many other options.
