The mission statement of the Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology’s Health Information Technology program is to provide students with entry-level skills required to obtain employment in the health care field and to provide students with transferable knowledge and skills needed to improve healthcare outcomes within the community. Cambridge’s Associate in Health Information Technology program gives students the skills necessary to enter the field of health IT. Our program includes 75 weeks of study, completely online. To enter the field as a health information technologist, you’ll need to know how to analyze patient information and data and accurately enter it into records and systems. Our Associate in Health Information Technology (HIT) program teaches you how to record medical information, bill and code, protect critical data and more. Our Health Information Technology Program is programmatically accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management (CAHIIM). As a graduate of our HIT Program you will be able to sit for the AHIMA Registered Health Information (RHIT) exam.
