This Tucson Sterile Processing program will teach you how to practice various methods of sterilization and sanitization within a clinical setting. You will also receive hands-on training in equipment safety and tracking, surgical instrumentation and decontamination, and sterilization procedures and practices. All incoming students learn from trained professionals in our modern facilities equipped with the latest sterilization technology and equipment.

You will also study several related health topics, including hospital organization, safety, legal issues, anatomy and physiology, aseptic technique, and surgical procedures.

Before graduating, you will participate in a supervised externship to gain real-world experience and training. In as little as 42 weeks, you will be fully prepared for an entry-level position as a Sterile Processing Technician within a hospital, clinic, dental office, or surgical center.
