Bossier Parish Community College - Sabine Valley Campus offers a wonderful educational program, designed to prepare students to become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN). Students, upon successfully completing this course, can contribute significantly to the growing medical field by taking care of ailing individuals and providing them with basic medical care. The focus of this course is to develop competent nursing professionals who can skillfully handle the day-to-day activities of a nurse, while prioritizing the comfort and care of their patients. The students will learn to assist patients with their daily tasks, monitor their vital signs, communicate efficiently with the healthcare team, and educate patients and their families about their health conditions.
