This Orientation and Safety DSHS approved training will provide you with the skills to you need for long term and elderly care. This give you the core fundamental training for caregiving. This course is designed to help prepare you to accept nurse-delegated tasks. This section focuses on taking care of patients with diabetes. With this training you will learn to care for patients with dementia by learning the following. This course is for resident managers, caregivers, and health providers in long term care settings. This final part of the Home Care Aide training is to demonstrate all the skills learned throughout the previous sections of the program.

Blossom Nursing Academy
Blossom Nursing Academy is a nursing assistant training school in Kent, Washington. It prepares students for healthcare fields through Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Care Aide, Medical Assistant Bridge to CNA, Phlebotomy, and CPR / Basic Life Support training. Instruction covers Basic Patient Care, Anatomy and Physiology, Nutrition, Activities of Daily Living, and Infection Control. The academy describes its CNA education as a foundation for further work in nursing and other medical careers. Students who complete the training and pass the academy’s exam qualify to take the OBRA competency written and clinical exam. The facility is also a state testing facility, allowing the state exam to be taken where training occurs.
