Bellin College
The DNP program at Bellin College is designed to expand on the knowledge, skills, and abilities from bachelor’s and master’s-level programs by integrating new and enhanced skills in organizational and systems leadership, quality improvement processes, population health, and the translation of research to advanced clinical practice. Our practice-focused doctorate prepares graduates to excel in clinical leadership roles aimed at health system transformation and improved patient outcomes. The program has several entry points, including BSN-DNP, and MSN-DNP. MSN-DNP students that are not a certified APRN may be required to complete the Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate. The MSN-DNP courses are offered online to accommodate working professionals. Students do not need to be present on campus to complete the degree. The BSN-DNP is a hybrid (online and face to face courses) program.

The AAOMPT-recognized Fellowship in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy helps therapists gain the highest-level skills in the integration of advanced manual physical therapy techniques, educating students and fellow PT’s, performing clinic-based research, and leading in the business of PT. The Bellin College OMPT Fellowship program is a 40 credit, flexible, cost-effective, and achievable program from a work/life balance perspective. This program can be paced to accommodate personal life and spread over 18 months to 4 years. Data demonstrates that past-EIM Fellows perform in the top 10% of the profession (based on Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes™ scores). Graduates are primed for leadership in the teaching of orthopaedic manual physical therapy, as well as active participation and contribution to clinical research.

Our post-graduate certificates allow nurses who already hold a master’s degree, the opportunity to specialize in an area other than that obtained in their master’s program. The Family Nurse Practitioner Post-Graduate Certificate (FNP PGC) program is available to registered nurses who hold a Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree who desires to continue their education and expand their skillset to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Students who complete the FNP Post-Graduate Certificate program will be prepared for a new professional path and the many roles and responsibilities of a primary care provider. The program can be completed in approximately 24 to 36 months. Upon successful completion of program requirements, a certificate is awarded and students are eligible to apply for American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification (AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
