- Apply proper body mechanics in bed making, lifting, and turning patients.
After graduating from this program, you'll be ready to find entry-level employment as a nurse aide with hospitals and nursing homes. But it's not just about getting a job - it's about making a difference in people's lives.
Important Note: The program strictly adheres to the curriculum and time mandated by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). All applicants must pass a criminal background check, as well as checks in the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) and the Nurse Aide Registry (NAR).
