Important Note: The program strictly adheres to the curriculum and time mandated by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS). All applicants must pass a criminal background check, as well as checks in the Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) and the Nurse Aide Registry (NAR).

Program Overview

• Our program takes a year to complete, efficiently preparing you for a career in vocational nursing.
• The application process involves some steps. Applicants should be at least 18 years old, and possess a valid driver's license or ID, original Social Security card, and a high school diploma/GED. An application fee is applicable.
• Potential students should take the HESI Admission Assessment Exam A2 in Math & English, aiming for a minimum of 75% in each area. A well-crafted essay and three signed recommendation letters are also part of the application.
• The program proudly accepts VA Educational Benefits, making it an excellent choice for veterans.
