Medication Aide Training

Welcome to our Medication Aide training program, a compact, yet comprehensive 18-hour course tailored to instruct students in the administration of medication within residential care and assisted living facilities in Missouri.

Course Highlights

• The program comprises 16 hours of classroom instruction, where you'll acquire foundational knowledge about medication administration, learn about different types of medicines, and get a solid understanding of best practices.
• You'll also benefit from 2 hours of hands-on clinical instruction, granting you the invaluable experience of applying the skills you've learned in a practical setting.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training at Assumpta Allied Health Career Center

Embark on a fulfilling career in healthcare with our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course. This program is designed to provide comprehensive instruction and hands-on training that aligns with Missouri State guidelines.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Eligible for employment in a Missouri State-approved long-term care facility or a skilled care unit of a hospital

• Successful completion of a background check

• Negative TB skin test or Chest X-Ray result

Course Overview:

• 75 hours of classroom instruction to provide a strong theoretical foundation

• 100 hours of on-the-job training for real-world experience and skill refinement
