The Assisted Living Manager program at AMTI provides comprehensive training to prepare individuals for a career in managing assisted living facilities. This program equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in this role. Here's an overview of the program:

Course Structure:

  • Duration: The Assisted Living Manager program is a 40-hour course.
  • Instructors: The course is taught by industry professionals with years of relevant experience and expertise.
  • Instruction Mode: Students have the advantage of classroom instruction as well as access to online study materials.
  • Assessment: Throughout the program, students are required to take chapter tests to evaluate their comprehension of the course materials.
  • Final Exam: To successfully complete the program, students must pass the course final exam with a score of 80% or higher.
  • Class Schedule: Classes are held Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Course Curriculum:

Assisted Living Manager Certifications:

Upon successfully completing the AMTI Assisted Living Manager program, students will be eligible to sit for the Arizona State Written Final Exam and the NCIA Board Certification Exam. Both of these exams are required by the State of Arizona for individuals who wish to work as Assisted Living Managers in care facilities or homes.

In addition, state-certified Managers are required to participate in Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every two years to maintain their Assisted Living Manager Certification. AMTI offers a variety of CEUs to support professionals in staying current in their field.

This program provides comprehensive training to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as Assisted Living Managers, and it ensures that they are well-prepared to meet the certification requirements set by the State of Arizona.
