In person Medical Assistant Classes
With Arizona College’s Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy program, you can earn your medical assistant diploma in about 7 months. After graduation, you can sit for either the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam or the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam. Depending on which you choose, see the official websites for timeframes and deadlines as these are subject to change.
In person Phlebotomy Classes
After successfully completing our program, Arizona College graduates are eligible to sit for the Registered Phlebotomy Technician Certification Examination (offered through the American Medical Technologists organization). Other organizations that certify phlebotomists include the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians, National Credentialing Agency for Medical Laboratory Personnel, and National Phlebotomy Association. Depending on which state you wish to work in, a phlebotomy license may be required as well.
In person Pharmacy Technician Classes
The objective of the Arizona College’s Pharmacy Technician program is to provide a sound educational environment for instruction and training to equip its graduates for entry-level positions in pharmacy-related services. Approximately half of the program consists of lecture/demonstration and half hands-on laboratory procedures.
Hybrid Dental Assistant Classes
- Our school’s dental assistant program takes a total of four quarters (38 weeks) to complete. After completing the on-campus portion of the program, you’ll participate in an off-campus, eight-week clinical externship that provides you with real-world, hands-on experience in a dental practice setting.
Hybrid Medical Billing and Coding Classes
Arizona College’s Medical Billing & Coding diploma program prepares you to be a medical biller and coder. Through completing the required coursework, you’ll gain a solid foundation in medical terminology and diagnoses, anatomy and physiology, medical coding protocols, and medical billing procedures.
